FAQ

PDF forms questions

Standard PDF forms (AcroForm): text fields, multi-line text, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns and lists. Forms built with XFA, an older Adobe format, can't be filled here — the tool tells you when it finds one.

It draws each answer into the page and removes the fields, so the form can't be edited any more and looks the same in every reader. Keep a fillable copy if you might need to change an answer.

No. The form is filled in and saved by your browser. When an answer needs a font for another script, only that font is downloaded from a public font CDN; your PDF and answers stay on your device.

No. Scripts such as totals or input checks are kept in the file untouched but never run here. They run when the PDF is opened in a reader that supports them.

Yes. When a PDF has no fields, draw text fields, checkboxes and dropdowns on it. The result has real form fields that Acrobat, Chrome, Edge and other PDF readers can fill in.

Yes. The fields are a simple list that works with your phone's keyboard, and the page preview shows each answer in its box as you type.

Signature fields can't be signed in this tool. Fill in the form, save it, then add your signature with Sign PDF.
