> Convert PowerPoint to PDF online free, with no watermark or sign-up. Turn PPTX and PPT slides into a PDF with pictures, tables and fonts kept. Never stored.

Turn a .pptx or .ppt deck into a PDF with one page per slide — free, with no watermark and no sign-up. Layouts, theme colors, pictures, tables and shapes come through, with fonts matched so text wraps where PowerPoint wraps it.

## How do I convert a PowerPoint presentation to PDF for free?

Add the .pptx or .ppt file to Mergevanta's PowerPoint to PDF tool, choose whether to include hidden slides or speaker notes, and press Convert to PDF. Each slide becomes one PDF page with its pictures, tables, shapes and text in place. It's free, adds no watermark and never stores your file.

## Key facts

- **Price:** Free
- **Watermark:** None
- **Sign-up:** Not required
- **Accepts:** .pptx, .ppt, .pptm, .ppsx, .potx, .pps, .pot
- **You get:** A .pdf with one page per slide
- **Processing:** Encrypted and converted on our server; decks over 4 MB have their pictures scaled down in your browser first
- **Files stored:** Never
- **Works on:** Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android

## Why use Mergevanta

- **Every slide, one page:** Each slide is drawn at its own size, 16:9 or 4:3, with its background, master graphics, pictures, tables and shapes in place.
- **Text wraps like PowerPoint:** Calibri, Cambria, Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New are matched with metric-compatible fonts and kerning, so lines break where PowerPoint breaks them.
- **Old .ppt files too:** PowerPoint 97–2003 decks are read directly, along with .pptm, slide shows and templates — no need to re-save them first.
- **Private by design:** Your deck is encrypted before it leaves the browser, converted in memory and deleted as soon as the PDF is sent back.

## How to use it

1. Press Choose PowerPoint, or drop a .pptx or .ppt file onto the page.
2. Turn on Include hidden slides if you also want the slides hidden from the slide show.
3. Turn on Add speaker notes to get notes pages, each slide above its notes.
4. Press Convert to PDF while the server draws your slides.
5. Press Download to save the PDF.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is my presentation uploaded to a server?

Yes — PowerPoint files are converted on Mergevanta's server. The deck is encrypted in your browser before upload, converted in memory and deleted as soon as the PDF is sent back. Nothing is stored or logged.

### Is there a file size limit?

The server takes files up to 4 MB. Bigger .pptx decks have their pictures scaled down in your browser so they fit; for an old .ppt file over the limit, export it as PDF from PowerPoint or Keynote instead.

### Will charts, SmartArt and videos appear in the PDF?

Text, shapes, pictures, tables and SmartArt saved with its drawing are rendered. Charts can't be drawn yet and show as a labelled placeholder, and videos show their poster frame. The result names every slide affected.

### Will my fonts look the same?

Common Office fonts are swapped for metric-compatible open fonts with the same widths and kerning, so text wraps in the same places. Rare or decorative fonts fall back to a close standard font. Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and other scripts are supported.

### What happens to hidden slides and speaker notes?

Hidden slides are left out unless you turn on Include hidden slides. Add speaker notes makes notes pages instead — each slide at the top with its notes underneath, like printing Notes Pages in PowerPoint.

### Can I convert a password-protected presentation?

Not yet. Remove the password in PowerPoint first (File → Info → Protect Presentation), save the deck and add it again.
